Connie L. Hiers

M.D., F.A.C.S., Medical Director

"I've always been fascinated with science and wanted to help people. Most importantly, I've always wanted to help people feel better about themselves. Medicine seems the perfect combination of both. It's science helping humanity. That's what made plastic surgery so appealing to me. I was intrigued by the scientific and even the artistic aspect of it. The impact on the patients is just astounding.

I remember one young lady who had liposuction done. She was somewhat hesitant at first. However, after she saw the effects of  liposuction, she was inspired to lose 100 pounds! She is a totally different person. She is not the timid woman I had first operated on. She later married a wonderful man. It absolutely turned her life around. "It's stories like these that make you feel a part of something special."

Kim Smith, Office Manager

"I've been with Dr. Hiers since 1985. She's a very generous person. I'm not just talking about her relationship with the staff, but her relationships with everyone–from patients to peers. She respects you and she really listens to you. That's a quality I admire about her. I may help her run her offices, but she has helped me to grow so much as a person. That's good medicine in itself."

Dawn Passmore, Office Administrator

"I've been with the staff since 1990 and I've really seen how she cultivates a trust in the people around here, from the staff to the patients. It's amazing what she's able to do for a person's self-esteem. It's a great feeling to know you're helping someone feel good about themselves."

Jennifer McPherson, LPN

"I've always wanted to be a nurse. Helping people has always been a part of my nature. That's especially what I like about Dr. Hiers. You can tell she really does this out of a real compassion for people. That's what really motivates her. I never think of myself as working "for" her. I work "with" her. She views everything as a partnership. We're all in this together."
